Default 192 Digital..... no analog expansion?

Just wondering if an analog expansion card, in this case, an A/D card is possible. I ask because I took the cover off and had a peak and didn't find a ribbon connector for the card. To do this, do I have to send the 192 back to Digi? I just thought because there are two more slots, I could do this.

hi,
As far as I know/understand it , you can't use an A/D card or use more than 16 digital channels or even use the two rear middle bays of the interface .
From the 192 digital manual:

Quote:
Inputs and outputs are provided by the two
Digital I/O cards and the built-in Enclosure
ports. The two empty bays (located in the middle
of the rear panel) are not expandable.

Digital I/O Cards
The 192 Digital I/O features two Digital I/O
cards with identical sets of input and output
ports. Each card handles eight of the 16 total
available channels of I/O
. The top card (Bay 1)
handles I/O channels 1–8. The bottom card
(Bay 2) handles channels 9–16.
