Really? I have never bought WUP for anything. I know a couple of my Waves plugs are out of WUP and it's about $11 to reinstate if I were to choose to do so.

I have Horizon (lots of plugs) and it would be $126, but that would actually give me about two years of WUP.

Why is SSL so expensive?

Default Waves SSL for $21!

I already own the bundle but bought the SSL E Channel for my second old portable iLok so I can use it remote because I dont ever take my main iLok out of my Studio.

They have to pay a license fee to SSL, and probably a commission on every plug they sell.

Then they need to make money

Well, I looked in my account and I can buy WUP whenever I want to and it's $300 for all my plugins (and I have a lot of Waves plugs - Horizon, Restoration, Abbey Road, API, etc...).

I don't know why one SSL plug would be $300.

Pretty sure WUP caps at around $300 regardless, so....

That's quite the misnomer

My WUP is quite far over $300.....

They run you to a year past your current WUP (like still active) so that's how they get you past $300
