panther and digi 001?
i was just looking at the compatibility charts on the digi web site and noticed that all the info on panther and G5 compatibility is lumped together and there is no information on whether or not a digi 001 LE system will ever work with panther on a G4....
anybody?

In the compatablity they said they are working on a Panther Fix for Pro Tools LE. I'm guessing that would cover the G4 and the 001 as well. I did notice, however, that the 001 will not work with the G5's due to a difference in the PCI spec. Oh well.

yeah, what gives? I have a sawtooth G4, thats got a Dual CPU upgrade and a Gig of Ram, its fast enough for PT by FAR. Panther runes Flawlessly. I hope this patch wotn knock the Digi001-Sawtooth-Panther config out of the running. Better not. Logic Calls.
When they say "later G4 macs" what do they mean, and what Criteria determines that cut-off? I hope its not an artificial standard!
