2019.5 not so great here...
many beachballs (not a complete hang of PT)
many AAE errors (-9173) GUI glitches Pro Tools Finder windows sometimes not responding or showing content inactive MIDI tracks show active clips (so that they still have colours) general performance got worse here plugin windows do not close or do close when I don't want that. MIDI notes will be played which were not there. but the new playback features work great!

Re: 2019.5 not so great here...
Can we try and contain these to one thread?
It’s beneficial for those having general issues to try and troubleshoot as a whole. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 2019.5 not so great here...
I havent noticed any GUI problems, in fact on the contrary 2019.5 feels and looks as snappy as best of TDM systems back in the day. Have you double-checked the system requirements? Especially if you use Mojave the GPU demand is a lot higher than for example Sierra.
With that said, I'm using a 2013 trashcan that has the dual D500 graphics.

Yes I read the compatibility list and my MBP is on the compatibility list.
For the GUI problems I will test and toggle enable/disable graphic card switching in the energy saver preferences. Let's see if there is a difference.

Re: 2019.5 not so great here...
the trick of "open in low resolution" (command+i on pro tools app) can help with glitches.
