Question When will AIR instruments work with new Macs?

Hello,

Is there a timeline for compatibility with AIR instruments and new Macs which all ship with OSX 10.6?

I just recieved a new machine and currently I'm well, SOL!

Thanks

Q: When will AIR instruments work with new Macs?

A: When Avid releases the upcoming updates to Structure, Transfuser, Strike, Velvet; Hybrid as they have spoken about. It does look very promising that this will happen before the end of 2009.

Can someone from A.I.R. give us a timeline? End of 2009 is near!

They won't say a word. If Avid doesn't release the A.I.R. updates in the coming weeks, the next likely date is January 14-17 which is NAMM 2010.

ProTools isn't even approved for Snow Leopard, isn't that correct?

We bought a new Mac two weeks ago and had to wipe the drive and install 10.5.8.

Don't hold your breath for the AIR updates.

Most users would prefer incremental updates instead of having to wait years for 'the big upadte' IMHO. Agreed?

But then, when the 'the big update' occurs, you gotta wait YEARS again for THOSE bugs to be updated in another 'big update' ad nauseum...
