002 crashes when trying to open pro tools

I recently purchased a 002 and cannot figure out why pro tools keeps crashing whenever i try to open it. It goes straight to a blue screen and i have to restart.

More info may help too. Which version of PT? Do you have any extra plugins installed? Some plugins need to have updates to work with PT7 and newer.
