Default NI Phasis - new phaser

Native Instruments has a new phaser out called Phasis. This one's a freebie like Replika was a couple of years back. If this is as good as that (I haven't downloaded it yet) then NI has another sleeper on their hands.

There's also a $25 voucher on the NI store. The voucher code is: NIHOLIDAYS2017. I don't know if the caps are necessary but that's what's in the email I have.

Haven't downloaded it yet, but have heard reports that it's quite good.

I agree that Replika is great. I should use it more, but have sooooo many delays.

Downloaded but haven't tried Phasis yet. Used voucher on something called Driver which sounded interesting, though not a new idea, looked worthwhile, especially at half price with voucher

You're not the only one. If I didn't have so many delays I'd pick up Replika XT and use the voucher.

I've got Driver going into Phasis into Sie_Q on an aux send from an acoustic guitar track and I think fell through a wormhole to 1968. Driver preset "singing Filter", Phasis preset "No Wha" Sie-Q "clarity. Just playing around sounds very cool

If you need a good no-frills phaser then Phasis will fulfill your needs. Just like Replika does. Not the fanciest and the gui is rather plain.

It offers a few more features than most common phasers and they are imho pointed to the electronic music production world, you can multiply or sync the rate to almost ultrasonic speeds, separate and manipulate the signal in the stereo field, reverse the phase of the wet signal, add up to 12 notches I think and a few more that I haven't even thought about

Yeah I wasn’t expecting anything to special for a free plugin. As long as there’s nothing overtly bad about it. But then, that would be bad publicity for NI, which would defy the whole point of giving away a freebie.
