Complete Production Toolkit 2 upgrade

I saw there is an upgrade option from Music Production Toolkit and DV Toolkit to Complete Production Toolkit 2, but I didn't see anything about upgrading from CPT to CPT 2. Am I just not seeing it?

There's no upgrade required. Your current license will work with PT9.

What about the Neyrinck plug-in, VCA mixing capability, and other little extras. Will they just automatically be available?

I'm not sure exactly how it works, but from what people are saying, there's an installer for the new Complete Toolkit as part of the download of PT9 (or in the discs of the boxed version upgrade, if you get that).

Ok I have a question, I have dv toolkit v2, if I upgrade to cptk2, will I still be able to use
the license to operate on version 8?

I'm on a Pc, so I will need to
Upgrade my OS to win 7, but I would still like
To run v8 on my xp os for a little while as I'm in the middle of a few jobs.

You will have to surrender your DV Toolkit 2 license to get CPTK2.
I have CPT and upgraded to CPTK2 because they really made it look like you had to upgrade for PT9 (I had a DV Toolkit2 license that I wasn't using). I downloaded my PT9 license, but didn't download the CPTK2 license to see if PT9 worked. I does.
I should have figured something was fishy when I purchased the CPTK2 upgrade and the only choices to upgrade from were DV Toolkit & MPT.
I am going to try and get a refund since it's still sitting on ilok.com.

Haven't tried Neyrinck, but X-Form works. I have VCA's.

Just got off the phone with Avid support.
There is no difference between CPTK and CPTK2!
He re-deposited my DVTK2 license and gave me the email address ([email protected]) to try and get a refund.
