Default Dual OS\'s Dual PT Versions expected problems?

So right now I am working on a G4 with a Mix24 system. I am running OS X 10.3.8 with ProTools 6.4.1 for the Mix system. I would like to use PT 7 on this same Mac without ripping the whole Mix system out and swapping it with an HD rig from another room. Too much work too little time. This is what I thought about. I am not in the need of a huge number of tracks or plugins so I was thinking about installin Tiger on a seperate hard drive and running an MBox 2 with PT 7 on the Tiger OS. I know Tiger won't interfere with Panther but I am afraid of PT 7 interfering with PT 6.4.1 ini any way. I'm pretty sure the database files are different and I'm sure so are a few other things.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this or if anyone had any thoughts on why this would or wouldn't work. I'm in pretty desperate need of region groups and the ability to import markers. Though 6.4 has worked beautifully in the past, but the ominance of designing and subcontracting 500+ VG sounds is a bit daunting.
