Unhappy Annoying "Save" Error

I've been working on an EP with a band for the last couple of weeks now and just recently within the last week or so started getting a weird error every dozen saves or so. I don't think it has anything to do with my UAD 2 plugins so I started a new thread apart from that one. I took screen shots of the error messages and linked them below. I am open to any ideas if anyone has any.

Like I said, let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Also, I noticed that it only occurs if i try to save within 5 seconds of playback ending.

May not have anything to do with it, but when I start getting wierd Access Violations I reboot and usually everything's fine. My experience with any version of Windows is that if you've have the pc on for a while (like days) errors may start to appear. I always reboot before a session (and sometimes DURING a session!).

This happens right after a reboot, after being on for an hour, after being on for a day. It just happens. I've got it running on 85% of 2 of my 4 cores.

9 has a bit of a memory leak; & too, most times rite after u stop play, it's wanting to autosave depending on how much is being used in the session; so if thatz the case, & u hit save when that happens, its gonna get hosed; Memory leak is a known issue tho...

I have Auto Save disabled. Think a fresh reinstall of PT9 would help?

It could; I'd say try it out... I hadn't seen the error in some time since switching my FW port to legacy...

Not to sound like a complete noob, since for the most part I am not; but how do you switch the FW port to legacy and why would you do that?
