Default No Sound From Virtual Instruments...Help Please

I have the M box 2 and M-Audio Axiom 25 key and I am using Pro Tools LE. That is all the equipment I have and using. Ok, I used the pro tools method one DVD that came in the box with the m box to set up my midi and peripherals. I followed all the directions step by step and still no sound from the virtual intruments. I started off by having 1 mono Aux track, 1 stereo Aux track and 3 Midi tracks. After I went into the midi studio setup and setup my Axiom 25, and set the input to M box 2 and the output to M box 2(Emulated). I setup the channels to send in 1 channel and to receive in 1 channel. Under peripherals, under the synchronization tab, device is set to generic MTC reader. Under machine control tab, it is not enabled. Under midi controllers tab, I have none set and under ethernet controllers, I have none set. When I try to record, I use the AUX 1 and insert the click and set it to cowbell 3. On AUX 1 and 2, I bring the volume up to 0.0. I set everything to bars and beats and grid mode. In the AUX 2, I insert sampletank 2 and when I select a instrument in sampletank, I try to test the sounds out in the sampletank keyboard and no sounds come out. My Axiom is being recognized because the signal is being shown when I hit the keys on my Axiom but no sound comes out. I am able to record the keys I hit to try and make something but still no sound plays when I playback what I recorded. Please help ASAP

Have you assigned hardware inputs on the track(s) with virtual instruments? You should.

Given the fact that you can record midi, I'd say that your controller is correctly set up.

When you use an aux for VI's you also need to create a midi track (as you've done). I usually set the input on the midi track to my master keyboard, and the output to the VI. For instance Kontakt 2 - Channel 1.

After you've inserted a VI on the aux it should be available in the midi output drop-down menu in any midi track. Is it not?

Have you enabled midi thru? This must be enabled so that Pro Tools can route the midi from your controller to any record-enabled track. Midi thru allows you to monitor the midi while recording.

Yes, the VI is available in the output dropbox in the midi track. I have done that also and yes I do have midi thru turned on. I honestly don't know what the problem is but I need to figure it out...If you can think of anything else, please let me know

Which version of PT are you using? Is Sampletank compatible with your PT version?

The obvious (like "catpuke" (( ))mentioned) - are there any samples loaded into Sampletank?

Have you checked that the midi channels corresponds correctly? I mean, does the midi channel number (OUT) match the Sampletank midi channel number (IN)?

If you're on PT 7.x - have you tried using instrument tracks instead?

I'm running out of ideas here...one more - do you have other softsynths you can test your setup with?

Yes, I did download the sampletank sounds and put them in the correct folders. I'm using PT 7.0 and yes the midi channel number (OUT) matches the sampletank channel number (IN). Since you said to try the instuments track, I tried that a couple minutes ago and no signal even goes through. Well I tried reason and it does the exact same thing. I followed the manual on how to record midi and how to configure step by step and still no sound. How did YOU configure your midi controller or how do YOU record your midi? Because this is getting me mad cause I have been trying to fix this for a week now.
