Default Pro Tools 10HD won´t sync to word clock [SOLVED]

Hi,

I just bought a used Black Lion Audio Microclock mk2.
I´m running a HD3 Accel system with SSL Alpha & Delta Link Interface.

I have connected the micro clock with 2 word clock (BNC) cables:
- 1 to the Alpha Link IN
- 1 to the Delta Link IN.
The micro clock is set to 48 kHz.
The Alpha Link is set to 48 kHz + ext clock.
So far so good, the Delta Link go into LOCK mode according to the LED.

Then when I start Pro Tools everything is working ok and sounding, but when I got to hardware setup and change clock source to Word clock (48kHz) I get "Your hardware does not have sync. Check your sync cable or change the clock source".
I then go back to Internal and get "Sync source is now valid" and the system works again.

I tried to disconnect the power to the micro clock while playing then the sound disappears, and when I connect it again it comes back, so I guess the clock is present in the system in some way?

I have tried different cabled, I have re-installed Pro Tools, I have rebooted the entire system. Still everything stays the same.

What am I missing, is it supposed to be on "Internal" even though I have an external work clock source?
Or is the clock broken?

Hope someone can help.

Cheers

When I think about it maybe this is a software issue?
Anyone know if clock source should be put to Word clock to utilize the external clock?

Found the answer so I post this if someone else need the answer.
After some searching I found that the Pro Tools setting should be set to ‘Internal’. See below:

"The ‘Clock Source’ must be the first 192 unit (indicated by the dot in front of its name), and must always be set to ‘Internal’ (indicated by the tick), even though you may be using an external clock master device. In reality the Delta-Link is always clocked externally, but the Pro Tools software has no ‘knowledge’ of the Delta-Link."

Problem solved.
