Default Atmos Object Automation Phasing problems

Hi,

I have a large Dolby Atmos Mix Session here Mac PT 2020.11.

I use the Object ON/OFF Automation extensively. But If I set the automation breakpoints exactly at region in/out I hear disturbing phasing of the audio at the end.

I know it's not wise to change Object/Bus in the middle of a region - there will be a small audible silent - ok - but look at my screenshot. the breakpoint is at the end of a FADE OUT. and the whole red area is phasing.

I now try to extend these automations so no phasing is happening but that's not so nice.

any ideas?

Is the material on the tracks above the same material (it looks like it may be) that is in the bed and at this selection in red you are effectively cross fading between object and bed?

Hi mark,

thanks for taking a look, it‘s in fact the same material - but also an object.
so the 2 objects are not in phase at the fade position.

but it also happens on some objects that don‘t fade into another object or bed.
