Default MIDI notes are forced a few ticks forward or else they dissapear

Picture shows it clearly. When im in grid or slip mode it wont let me move the midi notes any closer to the grid without making them vanish.

The picture is zoomed all the way in.

What if you switch to NOTES view? Does it look the same? Can you snap the note to the bar then?

As mentioned by Brian above, you have to have Notes selected in the Track View Selector in order to do this. Your attached image shows you are using Clips view.

Ive literally NEVER used notes view in my life though besides for when I was first learning, I always use the midi editor and this has never been a problem.. Ill try tonight but I am almost certain that wont be the solution. This problem came out of nowhere in the middle of my regular workflow which never has included notes view, im always in clip.

Personally I dont know why anyone would use notes view in the edit window tbh versus the midi editor haha.

Again ill try, but im pretty sure thats not it.
