Default Out of free uldate for only 5 days!

Nice one AVID.
I've bought my PT10 o April 2nd. Just five days ago. And beacause of it I'll have to pay AGAIN my next update? REALLY?
I'm glad I've almost buy CMPTK2 also, that was going to be almost 2 grand going down the toilet.....
I think I'll move to Logic after almost 14 years using (AND EVANGELIZING PEOPLE) Protools.

why not return it and rebuy then? depending on where you got it there should be a 30-day refund.

You think thats bad? I bought mine on April 6th... Registered in the late afternoon... Missed it by a matter of hours... I bought it off of ebay so I cant even return it.

That hurts.

What really hurts is I originally read that its after April 1st on Sweetwater:

http://www.sweetwater.com/feature/protools11/

Can someone from Avid confirm either date? Or better yet, do a guy a favor?

Considering they have the upgrade price for pt HD 7/8/9 to pt HD 10 and not pt HD 11 on that link.. I would wait until they update their page.

These are the actual price

Pro Tools 11 software (full version)— $699 USD
Pro Tools 10 to 11 upgrade— $299 USD
Pro Tools 9 to 11 upgrade— $399 USD
Pro Tools Express to Pro Tools 11 cross grade— $499 USD
Pro Tools HD 10 to 11 upgrade— $599 USD
Pro Tools HD 9 to 11 upgrade— $999 USD

Exacly!

Anytime they choose to launch new software some people will fall between the chairs and as you have PT 10 now it is cheaper to upgrade to PT 11 so I don't see the problem really.
