ilok License Manager & HD11 Upgrade confusion

Same problem here. I updated my primary ilok with PT11HD with no problems; it's my secondary ilok with PT regular that did the surrender/crash/now no 10 or 11 thing.

I already have a support ticket with Pace, but if anyone at Avid can help me that would be great.

I've been trying to get my upgrade to work all day. I see that some people are starting to get the problem fixed. I have a big session tomorrow and need it fixed. Please help!

Once again I'm living the blessed life.. My ilok license updates went through without a hitch...

The only thing I've seen so far is an issue regarding permissions.. I had to repair permissions after installing the 10.3.6 update, log out and log back in to get the software to allow me to install PT11HD. Only took an additional two minutes but it's there now, complete with the 64 bit icon from the good folks at Pro Tools Expert...

Sorry for a stupid question but is your 11 icon different looking from the 10.3.6 icon or am I missing something here

An oversight by Avid that kept the PT11 icon the same as the PT10, (and previous), icons... They're one and the same. Never an issue before as you could only have one version of PT installed at a time.

Now that you can have two, it only provides for the PT11 icon in the apps folder. The guys at PTE created a new one here that can be used to distinguish between the two.

We have 2 of the same now that's why I was confused if something had gone awry but will get that nice shiny 64 bit logo in the morning.
Is is hard to install or was it just "paint by numbers" ?
