Strange Apollo Latency

Check it out. Been happening for months with every session. Have uninstalled and reinstalled all Apollo and PT software. Still happens. UA offers no help.
Also happened in 12.5 through 2018.4
I'm in Hell.

Pro Tools can't compensate for latency inducing plugins on master busses. If you are using a master fader for the mix and have plugins on it with latency, you will have the problem you show in the video.

No master bus in this session.
And the video shows that ticking and unticking the “ignore playback errors” box fixes the latency.
I shouldn’t have to go through this unnecessary step to be able to record in synch.
Has nothing to do with Master bus.
And yes I've trashed preferences

The Video shows that this has nothing to do with masters plug in latency. :)

And its not right what you say. PT also compensate the latency on the masters.
the only thing (may be you mean this) thats not recommended is you should not record & monitor a track witch is routed to the master bus or other busses with long latency plug ins on it. in this case you have a delay on the software monitor.

But recording with long latency plug ins on the master bus is absolute not problem with ADC. it works fine !

It's not a master bus issue. The session in the video had no master.
And, as you can see in the vid, the problem weirdly goes away when I toggle "ignore playback errors" on and then off again.

I do have the latest UAD software. The problem has been present over the last three software versions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Pro Tools and Apollo Console.
The problem is not present on my MacBook Air and an iMac I tested the hardware on. Only on my MacBook Pro 15 2016 touchbar.
16GB RAM.
Wondering if there's something in the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 conversion that's causing the issue.
