Default Two 001 on one computer?

Ist it possible to run two digi 001 on on G4, just for a short while? Or will the cards interfere with each other? Anyone who has tested?

Even if you could get the cards working, it would not give you any extra features when running Pro Tools LE. No additional tracks, inputs, outputs etc...

I assume you already have understood this and want to use the second 001 as an interface for some other application like some soft synth?

Maybe I should have clarified that. I'm not intending on using the two 001 simultaneously. A friend of mine is planning to buy a used 001 and he wanted me to test the card and cable and such (since he hasn't got his computer at home right now). The reason I asked was because I would be happy if I didn't have to get my old card out to try his one...

I would recommend removing the original 001 card first for testing purposes. With two cards, Pro Tools won't know which engine to launch from.

Best regards,
