Melodyne performance: AAX vs RTAS

Have any of you tried Melodyne with both PT10 and PT11?

I've noticed that analyzing polyphonic material (DNA) with Melodyne Editor 2.1.1 is much faster in Pro Tools 10 than it is with 11.

With the AAX version in PT11, analysis progress counter freezes as well... Just the GUI freezes though, the plugin keeps working and un-freezes when analysis is complete. So that's not really a big deal, but it was very concerning when I first encountered it. When editing notes inside complex material, the AAX version is much more sluggish.

If this is just slight instability due to the new release, no problem. But if it is running well for others and not for me specifically, I have some detective work to do.

Anyone here have a similar experience?

I did a few superfast tests with it last night and it seemed to analyze the vocal track at the same speed it has in prior versions.

I should probably time the analysis. It might end up being the same, but the GUI freeze sure makes it feel like a lot longer. It could just be a little bug with the Windows version. At least it didn't crash!
