PT on a new system, iLok stuff
Hi,
I am about to upgrade my system drive to an SSD, so I have to reinstall the OS and all applications. What is the procedure regarding iLok & Protools, do I have to remove my license from the iLok, do anything else, or none of that? I am on OSX 10.8.3 with PT 10.3.5 Vanilla. My PT license is on the iLok, according to my iLok.com account. Thanks so much in advance!

Remove your licenses from your ilok? No
Once your ready to install the OS, do so. Then install the latest version of PT, then the instruments pack, drivers for your interface(if any) then update the ilok drivers(ilok.com) then plugins if you have any. Straight forward process. You do not need to have your ilok plugged in or do anything else other than just install the latest drivers after you completed installing PT

It will be way easier and faster if you use a cloning utility and clone your old drive to the new SSD
