Default frame rates

hey everyone,
I am running black burst into the usd video ref and back out to the doremi v1 and all my protools periphs are set to 30 frames but the l.e.d. light on the front of my usd is at 29.97 wondering what the heck that is all about and if anybody has any suggestions that would help me a lot because i have a big adr session tomorrow....thanks again... (is this what black burst always spits out?)

My understanding is that black burst is the video reference for COLOR video at 29.97 frames per second. Hence, feeding black burst into the USD probably would show the frame rate to be at 29.97 fps.

I think you must set it at 29.97, because the frame count is 30fr/sec but the speed is at 29,97fr/sec.

Make sure your USD is in Remote Mode. The frame rate display should follow that of the Pro Tools session.
