Antares auto tune \"Cher\" sound?
Does anyone know the "Autotune" settings for the "Cher" &"Chris Brown" vocal sound?

Re: Antares auto tune \"Cher\" sound?
Basically, everything at "11" - speed of correction, accuracy of correction, lack of vibrato, lack of humanization. Be sure to limit scale notes if performance warrants, so as to really develop a latch-trigger effect on the target note, I'm sure others have studied this in greater detail, but you get the idea. It's worth mentioning that the singer needs to actually and deliberately modify their performance to maximize this effect. Some singers understand that AT is so much a part of their sound; the wife of a famous producer comes to mind; that their vocal "input" at the time of tracking vocals has been trained to tweak AT for this sound. The rest of the world attempts to perform so AT use will be minimized or avoided, ironically...
Best of luck with this, John-
