What was I Thinking BIAB ?

My spouse returned from a rehearsal raving about this fantastic pgm she had seen called Band in a Box. I was caught in the moment and did an impulse purchase of BIAB. After installing it, I can't get it to work with my system. So now that I have already purchased it I pose my question. Does anyone have BIAB ver 2007 working with PTLE 6.9? Does anyone have any BIAB working with PTLE 6.9?

Welcome to the club! BIAB is a great program. The problem is that with the 2006 version they promissed ASIO driver rutines - the problem is that those rutines provided by PGM does´nt work in both directions with Pro Tools or Digi hardware. It´s no problem to get sound OUT of BIAB, the problem is getting sound IN to BIAB, in the latest version (that I have not gotten yet) they have put in a functionality so you can disable the annoying reminder that your soundcard isn´t approved. That was put in because of Gary Currans "nagging", after he got his Mbox... Still to my knowledge the functionality between Digi002/PTLE and BIAB is limited

You can search for the old threads in this forum as well regarding this problem. Remind PGM again, since they always claim that I am the only Pro Tools user in the world useing their product... hahaha

This error from BIAB. Unable to use MIDI driver Digidesign Digi 002 port 1 Output driver is installed properly but is currently in use by another program. I think this means I'm SOL.

Just tested it, it works just fine!!! The only thing not working is Audio IN, when you work BIAB in standalone mode (after that you export your midifile and import it into PTLE - works fine). Use the DXi synth or even better if you have NI Bandstand or Kontakt2.

The setup process is abit tricky thou, if I remeber correctly you have to force the ASIO driver by using Rails MME-hleper

Look up the file BBW.exe and put it in there so your Digi002 will find it...
