Default McDSP AC Channel install problem????

Hey peeps- just got McDSP AC and a new ilok. I registered for my ilok account and it is detected. When I insert the McDSP disk, it is completely blank. It says that I have to look for an authorization folder on the plug-ins disk. I don't have any icons on when I click on the DVD/CD rom. It isn't my DVD player. Is there something I am missing here. Help please. Need AC Channel.

Thanks

What CPU are you using?
If you are on an Athlon Xp of the Barton ERA you will need to use the 2.4 version on Analog Channel.

Are the assets in your iLok account or on a Card from McDSP?

My workflow:

Get iLok assets from iLok .com to my ilok.

Install 2.6AC.
Run. Enjoy...

We need more info here in order to help you.

Bigbubbaj- yeah, I'm using XP2800 barton core. I think you mentioned this earlier when I posted before buying. SO, the chip is causing my CD-Rom to show up blank? weird...I called them today and spoke with Colin. I have to fax in my registration card first before I can download version 2.4. I have my authorization on that chip you insert into the ilok. Humm, wonder if 2.6 will work with the barton core? Man, I really want to start using this plug-in...thanks for the heads up.

Bigbubbaj- thanks for the link my man, worked like a charm. THe plug-in is awesome. It really takes the whole mix and glues it back together. I mean, I was recording drums on my four track just for that analog compression/distortion that I love and dropping into PT, no more. THe AC plug kicks butt. Take care bro.
