There is a will to improve new versions, and that's what there should be.

You can't have it both ways my friend. You say we have horrible communication and support as I sit here and engage directly with you, telling you that the very feature you want is coming in our next update. And this causes you to complain more about me.

I'm sorry if you don't like our style, but I think overall we're a good company with talented people who strive to make the best products. I'm gonna go off the grid here now, so all I'll say is that I hope you guys love VMR.

Cheers,
Steven

Sorry Steven. I didn't realise SSD4 had been given these bugs intentionally. My mistake. Lol

Better yet, skip this thread and read something else. Anything. Else.

i'll be the first to speak up when i think Slate (or anyone) is dropping the ball, but this is not an instance of that.

in my experience, 32-bit AAX in PT 10 is a giant mess all around, with many plugins from many developers. to the point where it's hard to blame the developers. it's much more likely something inherent with the AAX framework or the 10/11 co-existence.

in certain cases, just having certain 32-bit AAX plugins in my plugin folder (not even using them in my session) would cause system crashes, requiring a hard reset.

"little" 32-bit AAX plugs often work ok, but every "big" (sampler, virtual drummer, synthesizer, etc) one i tried wrecked PT 10. using RTAS for PT 10 and AAX for PT 11 has been the solution here.

Yea, I've had nothing but problems with 32 bit aax in PT10. Except for McDSP. RTAS works great, PT11 aax works fine.
Some people just need chill from the internet.

+1 on this McDSP plugs have always been very stable both TDM, RTAS and AAX 32

If you think SSS4 works fine, you must be quite happy being sent back to the beginning of the grooves list having to trawl through all of them again to find where you were. Or, you don't use the grooves at all. It certainly has its bugs.

mcDSP Ultimate EQ and Ultimate Comp can do everything VMR promises EXCEPT McDSP will run DSP on my HDX systems and VMR will NOT.
