behringer uma25s midi keyboard
Has anyone tried setting up a uma25s midi keyboard with USB to PT 8.04. This keyboard is not listed in midi section of midi setup. I have no idea of how to do this.
Im running win 7, dual core dell laptop Kevkevin

You can "create" an instrument if yours is not listed.
This is covered in the manual. I do fault Avid for an inconsistency in the dialog for this operation. There is no "Save" button. When you put the information about the instrument in there it is save, but I think most users would be more comfortable had Avid followed the more common user dialog, which would include "Save" and "Cancel" buttons...
