Default Timecode (LTC) output on USD

I like to have a constant tc (LTC) output on my USD. What I mean is: If ProTools has stopped the current timecode has to go out. That whay I can cue up my slave recorders / video-players. I know it is possible thru RS-422. But how about with multipal slaves?

When I use a VMOD (random access video disk player) as a RS422 machine (ProTools as the controler), the VMOD will not be able to stay in sync when I play fast-forward/reverse. In that way I cannot see the picture for position.

Anyone?
