PT LE won't authorize

Hello,
So I upgraded to 7.4.2, but now it wants my authorization code. I put in the code, but it didn't recognize it. I've managed to lose the original paper sleeve that the code was written on, but I saved the code in a file. It's the only one I've ever used and has always worked before. Avid doesn't want to hear from me about it unless I pay them. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do now?

Assuming this was registered you should be able to log in to your my avid account and retrieve your serial number.

Digi auth codes start DIGI0740 where the 0740 represents the version number, does your serial have this?

In another one of your posts you stated using 7.3.1, bare in mind 7.4 was a chargeable upgrade so if you have a 7.3 auth you are not entitled to 7.4 unless you paid or received an amnesty upgrade.

Just about to write the same thing as The Dougfather, and he is dead right, I lost my authorization code for 7.4 and avid just sent me the right one, if u payed for it they will give u the authorization code.

I didn't see where it was a paid upgrade, it just downloaded of course asked me for the key later. My key is a 7.3 key that was registered, but she no open the Avid door. I didn't see anywhere to buy the 7.3 to 7.4 upgrade. Anyone know if it still exists? Is there even any point in buying it, if I can upgrade to LE8 on a G4 with an original MBox? It looks like I can, but I'm certainly not confident.
