Can you use an HDX 16x16 and a 192 I/O together

i will get that and the 92 i/o i saw..

finally i am getting somewhere..

now if i can just find a cheap second hand HDX card and i'll upgrade my vanilla to a hdx software license..

perhaps i wouldn't even need to ever sell my imac if i went HDX.

Maybe not, but you will need some kind of thunderbolt chassis for the HDX card and a Digilink license(in addition to the HD license)

Re the used 192, just make sure you know what you are buying. the "standard" 192 is 8 analog IO and 8 digital IO(and can also take an expansion card for 8 more analog ins, OR outs(but not both). The 192Digital is digital ONLY(can't add analog cards) and a 192 chassis with no cards can't be used at all(even though it still has lightpipe and AES connections on it)

cheers.. yes i am happy with 8 digital and 8 analog per interface.. or 2 interfaces with 8 digital and 8 analog, and 2 with 16 analog.. as i have 2 focusrite octopre adats with 8 analog to digital converters each, so i'd like to be able to continue to use them.. especially cause they have hi-z inputs and good enough vocal pres for my use.They also sound fantastic with synths. :)
