"Digi Hardware not found" mesage
i'm running PT 7.3.1 on an intel imac via mbox 2 pro. lately, every time i go to boot PT, i get a message that says, "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click "OK" when the hardware is ready."
i can fix this by pulling the firewire cable out of the back of the computer and plugging it back in. i thought maybe the firewire port on my computer was bad, but then i found that this trick also worked if i pulled the firewire cable out of my mbox. what gives? this even happens when i try to run itunes. |
