Default Adat I/O into pro tools Mpowered???

I have a dual G5 Running PT 7.3.1 on a Project Mix I/O with a focusrite Liquid Mix. All is running smoothly with no problems.
I was just wondering the guy i work with will soon be getting an Alesis HD24 Adat.
My question is. how would i get the full 24 channels into PT? there is an adat port on the project mix but the HD24 Needs 3 just for output. i dont need to do and Importing to the HD24 just Outputs.
Would i need a seperate Adat PCI card and if so which one would be the best at a reletivly low price???
Many thanks for your help.
joe

Yea cool. i read that post. sounds neat but i just want some views on physically getting 24channels of Adat into my machine. i know the lightbridge does it well but my boss is getting an alesis so all i need to do is hook that up to playinto my machine.
I was thinking of an RME Hamerfall HDSP9652.
If i was to get this would it clash with my current setup using PT on a Progect Mix IO or would it give my mac greater power to process audio?????

Any help would be neat

Yeah that's a nice card, but it won't work with PT. It also costs more than the Lightbridge.

Probably no advantage to PCI over FW in this case. Both have little CPU overhead unlike USB.
