Export Only Lfe Channel in 5.1 ?

Hi there,

Does anyone know how I can export only the .lfe channel when exporting a 5.1 interleaved WAV. It's probably really obvious, but I need all other channels in the 5.1 file to be mute apart from the .lfe channel.

Split the 5.1 track into mono tracks .
Then export the channels you desire . .

Oh well. Back in the day of pre-interleaved days, it would have been easy to pick the channel you want from the bounce. Now that after all of the bragging PT supports interleaved files it is all of a sudden a problem. Can't you guys pick the right tomato?

I don't think you understand what I'm getting at.
It's about being able to change the volume of the center channel separately on a 6 channel track. Or lowering the surrounds. Or what have you. It's a pain to do it in PT without 3rd party applications, because everything is locked down on a multichannel track, for no reason at all.

You could put a multi-mono trim plugin on the track, unlink the channels in the trim plug and mute every channel but the sub (select each channel from the pulldown button under the chain link). You could also use this to change levels of individual channels in a surround track.

I am aware of work arounds, I use Spanner for it. Just saying that this should be an implemented feature.

No insult intended. Simply pointing out this option for the OP. Spanner is terrific and obviously much more versatile than a trim plugin and the surround panner. It would be great to have that functionality built in.
