Processing Bass voice, for Dubstep?
Hi,
I have put a bass loop in one of my tracks. I like the voice i have chosen, but i want to process it so it sounds like the bass in dubstep songs, ie. sounds like the bass track is being played through a fan. I don't know what the processing technique is called, heres an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vM39Hxin1A The bass sound i'm talking about kicks in about 27 secs. If anyone can understand what im going on about i would appreciate your help |

Re: Processing Bass voice, for Dubstep?
There are several ways to achieve this effect, basically it sounds as if there is an LFO (low frequency oscillator) 'modulating' the bass, although it could possibly be one or more 'envelopes' modulating it... or a combination of the two...
What are you using to generate your bass sound?
