Default Digi 003 no longer lets you hear audio while recording on PT 10 when PT 11 installed
I have a student version PT 10 recently updated to a running PT 11 / 10.3.6 on OSX 10.8.3. Weird problem now with PT 10 as it does not let you hear the audio as you record it, only after its been recorded. I must now switch to PT 11 to record like normal now, with the same settings. Anyone know what his problem is and how to fix it. I don't use pro tools 11 just yet as i still use RTAS so I'd like to stay PT 10 for now all the way and just have PT 11 for when i upgrade all my stuff (getting HD native soon). Please let me know

probobly not although i dont think i have seen that feature i ususally just press the red arm record button where exactly is that feature. thanks for the reply. ah just seen a video on it ill check it out im sure that will solve the problem thanks i was lookin for that feature

Up in the menu up top. Maybe in the options menu. It's up there:)

hey bro sorry its been a while since i responded, but i tried changing the input monitor to no avail.

this seems to be the problem: in pro tools 11 the input im using is referred to as "analog 1" and it pro tools 10 its refered to as "input 1" or vice versa. I get normal audio recording but while recording i cannot hear what i am recording until after i recorded it. pro tools 11 works fine & as of right now i am forced to do all recording using pro tools 11 then going back to pt 10 to mix. im confused as to why this glitch is happening but its definetly a glitch. i tried even changing the name on the input to match pt 10 and 11 but it still behaves badly. let me know any ideas? maybe reinstall drivers or something? i doubt that would fix it

What driver for the 003 are you using? What is it called in the audio engine? Digi003 or Avid003?

Good question from Park, and make sure LLM is off(Options menu) and set the buffer to 64 while tracking.
