Re: Scrub Tool Monitoring
You cannot hear scrubbed tracks if they are bussed through armed audio tracks. The armed audio track basically turns off as you scrub.

Scrub Tool Monitoring
I have tracks being bused to a master audio track for recording. I can hear all audio when playing back in input but cannot hear anything when I use the scrub tool. any reason or way to listen to audio when scrubbing?
Thanks. George |

Re: Scrub Tool Monitoring
this is a drag. I have a workaround built into my film-mixing templates. maybe it will work for you.
My tracks for a given category (sfx, for ex.) are bussed trough a submaster aux, then to a stem-recorder track that is armed. I put a send on the sub-aux that goes to the main outputs. It is normally muted, but when I need to scrub, I unmute it. Scubbed sound does pass through an aux. This system is slightly dangerous because if you forget to re-mute the send, everything will be twice as loud when you hit play, so if you don't notice, you will turn stuff way down. If you are paying attention, though, it should be fine. I wish digi would address this. It is a pita. |
