Audiosuite Gain Isn't Working

Hi, whenever I use the Audiosuite Gain plug-in, it makes the waveform disappear & therefore mute. I attached some pictures to show this. Any suggestions? I tried deleting the PT Preferences but that didn't work.

I recently tried upgrading to PT 2023.6 but some plug-ins didn't work so I went down to PT 2023.3 & the same plug-ins didn't work. Then I tried PT 2022.9 & the plug-ins did work.

Couple of things.

Your signature says you’re on an M1 Mac. 2023.3 and 2023.6 will both be opening natively as Apple Silicon builds so the plugins that aren’t showing up are more than likely not Apple Silicon Native. You will need to run the DAW under Rosetta. All your plugins will then work as expected.

As to your Gain plugin rendering as silence, it looks as if the plugin is stating the level and result as being INF which would explain the silence on render. As to why it’s not showing any values there, I’m not sure. Something is amiss but I can’t really say why.

Sardi has nailed the "missing" plugins issue, I'm sure.

I have to ask the obvious question... you are Analyzing the clip, then Rendering, right? Not just Rendering without Analyzing? If you're doing both steps and getting the muted result, sumpin's bad broke.

I tested and could not get silence as a result. Analyzing first made no difference here. It always gave me the same gain change regardless.

What happens if you consolidate the clip before gain changing?

What about using clip gain instead?
