Media Composer 5.5 (avid) export of AAF file gives NO HANDLES on audio files

Hello,

Just to keep others from pulling their hair out, our facility has run into what is explained to us by Avid as a bug in Media Composer.

A producer went out and shot footage at 1080 30p. Normally we shoot 1080 I 60. When the assistant editor output an AAF and movie file so I could sweeten, up comes the AAF with no handles. I went to go look at the Media Composer and all the settings were correct.

Next day the editor comes in, looks at it, calls a friend at Avid and gets, "Yes, that is a bug. Has to do with time codes getting wonky. Something we are working on."

So it isn't you ProTools people, it's you the Avid people.

In the Media Composer Export Settings window what was the "Export Type" and "Export Method" settings configured as?

Were any of the Convert Sample rate or Convert bit depth check boxes checked? How about the include rendered effects, Or Render All effects check box?
