display bug when using scrub tool in 6.9?

sorry if this is a repeat thread.

we are experiencing a bug when using the scrub tool. it's hard to recreate but sometimes (about 1/5 times), when we scrub, the edit window does not scroll over the correct audio. we *hear* the right audio but the playhead or whatever we have engaged just sits still, like it almost locks up.

if anyone has experienced this, please let me know.
