pt 8 64 tracks w/music production toolkit 1

i use a macbookpro when working on the mac side i get 64 stereo tracks with the toolkit 1 but if i switch over to windows xp i'm still at 48 ... how do i get the full 64 on windows???

Are you sure your iLok is working on the windows side?

Control Panel->System->Device Manager

Check and make sure that under the category "Dongles" you have "USB iLok Driver".

A quicker way might be to double click on the "Safely Remove Hardware" tray icon on the taskbar and check to see if you have a "USB iLok Driver" there.

If you don't, then you probably need to install the iLok client software from www.ilok.com

You could also try to sync your ilok to www.ilok.com to make sure that the asset is present and the ilok is functioning properly.

Are you even getting the auth. prompt? Are you sure it's installed?

that seems to be the problem... it's not recognizing that the toolkit is installed ...i see the toolkit dll in the protools folder but when i don't have the ilok pluged in it's not asking for authorization and in 7.4 it did i don't even see it loading ... i tried to uninstall pt 8 and the toolkit erase all registry instances and reinstall ...but still doesn't work
