Default Protools and MacPro Nehalem

Hello

I would like to buy the new MacPro. But is Protools HD totaly compatible with this computer ?
If yes, should I buy the 2 processors model ?; is protools use the 2 processors or not ?

Thanks
Laurent

Not yet! Digi will need some months to qualify them and sort out any issues.

Multi core processors? Not Sure I have seen RTAS do it right yet. . . I was just testing L3-16 under PT8 and I can running 1,2,3 or 4 processors (Quad Core) and the RTAS usage is the same (around 23%). . . not sure if it is Digi's System Usage meter, a Waves RTAS problem, or RTAS itself. Based on the history of things it will be RTAS itself, but I have nothing concrete to offer here, too busy focusing on the content and using the Tool set to manage it, so the computer/technical has become much lower on the list. . .
