Again, NO.

I am not asking any WHY questions. I am asking a CLOSED question: Will PT 10 be supported under Mavericks or not. Yes or no. This will help people plan what they need to do. I'm not complaining either way, my complaint is the absence of INFORMATION.

And for the millionth time, the discussion thread is here:

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=347549&page=10

My motive is pretty transparent and it is bewildering that anyone can equate a closed request for information with a "why" question. It's embarrassing (because that's kinda dumb) and sidetracks the issue at hand.

If you have a problem with a request being formally made to Avid for information about one of their products, and you have a problem that this request for information is being made publicly for the benefit of other users who also would find this information useful, then *don't participate in this thread*.

Default Avid staff - have some courtesy and advise if pt10 will be supported under os...

I choose to participate !!!

You are responding in a negative light b/c you assume my comment was negative

You took it the wrong way, I was simply helping you to get to a place so you can get an answer that you so desire

Hit these people up in this way if you desire the answer - then share with everyone

Ah, I see. Well, I already paid for PT 10 (and 9, 8 etc), and I don't think I (or any of us) should have to pay Avid to answer a pretty simple question, or pay for what will probably be no answer because I don't believe that over the phone I'll be able to speak with anyone high enough up the chain to actually know the answer.

We'll just have to wait. Everything has been said and done. Mods and Super-mods are keeping the issue alive in Avid internal meetings. There's nothing more that can be done.

Can we get a mod to delete the politically-related posts within this important topic? THIS issue resides in Burbank, California, not Washington, DC.

Paying customers' vocal complaints will go much further. That's what can be done. Speak up, folks!
