Default Complete Production Toolkit for sale
Upgraded to HD Native recently so I have no need for my CPTK2 license. If you are interested, I've posted it for sale on ebay.

Definitely. They usually went for $600-800 - and that was before it was clear that it's EOLd.

I experience a lot of people want Pro Tools HD without having to buy the AVID hardware.
This makes the CPTK quite attractive these days.
CPTK is actually the ticket to ProTools HD.

Now, I think a price-range 800-1000 is realistic ATM,
but we might see a slightly price rise in the future ...

Not Really because you still have to pay a hefty fee to upgrade your CPTK2 License into Pro Tools HD ...

My question would be ... if someone has got a pro tools 11 vanilla ... would he get a free pass to Pro Tools HD11 if he purchases the CPTK2 ???

No. I believe you can upgrade from pt11 to pt11hd if you have both a pt11 license and a CPTK license, but last I heard it was the same price as pt10+CPTK to pt11hd. $599.

I think it's because they have no way of knowing if you got some sort of free update or paid for it. Doesn't make sense to me either, but lots of Avid's decisions lately haven't made sense. At least IMO.
