Macro Shortcuts not working in Mix window.

I set up Show/Hide macro shortcuts for Track and Clip lists. Both work fine in the Edit window. Neither work in the Mix window.

Any ideas?

It's was in my public profile. I've just added it to my signature - though I still can't see it here.


Meantime: MBPro and iMac (both running macOS 10.14.6). Pro Tools 2019.12 and 2020.9.

What are you using to program/play the macros? what kind of steps are involved?

I'm using Automator to set up keyboard shortcuts using Servces.


Both Edit and Mix windows share the same contextual menu items: Other -> Clip LIst/Track List. Therefore the command 'Clip List' should theoretically affect both Edit and Mix windows simultaneously (regardless of which is currently visible).


Presently, it only affects one: In this case, the edit window, which in fairness is generally more useful to me.

Those contextual menu items only apply to edit window. You can't display clips in mix window. If you want to switch track bin on/off in Mix window best to use window configurations.
