Default Sequential bouncing/region export

hey everyone, i’ve used Reaper for many years and now i’ve started transitioning into Pro Tools. up to now it’s been fine but there’s something i miss and haven’t figured out how to do, if it’s possible. in Reaper, you can set markers, like the memory locations in PT, and between these markers create a region, then name the region and when exporting you can batch export all of them in sequence according to that region number, and also include the region name in the filename. now, i figure region means something else in PT, but is there a way to do this?

In Pro Tools(starting at version 10) an audio file is called a "clip". Read the manual about "Export Clips as Files". I think that may cover your needs.

Export clips as files will not printdown plugins on the channel or automation. I’d printdown (through bussing) to another audio track, copy region edits down to break up the large file, name regions (you can use batch rename here) and then export clips as files

thanks for the tips! using the batch rename function doesn't make it as automated as it was in reaper, but this and the export clips as files function after printing already saved me quite some time
