Default SCI 2.04...blow it up my #%@$^

After receiving and reading the material for the SC Editor upgrade to v2.1, I let the installer overwrite SCI 2.03 and install SCI 2.04; whereupon I spent the next 40 minutes trying to figger out why neither the old or new version of the Editor would open. Finally, I reinstalled SCI 2.03 (against all advice from the READ ME docs) and presto! Everything (including the new editor) works fine! All I can say is: DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE and how about some more thorough beta-testing?

I took the following from the read me that accompanies SC 2.1.1

"The SampleCell Init is included in the DSI with DSI 3.0.3 (and all future DSI versions) so there is no need to use a separate SampleCell Init."

Perhaps you might try removing SCI 204

Kevan, thats exactly what I saw (though it doesn't apply in my case, as I don't use a DSI - all native, baby...) As for removing SCI 2.04, that was the point (and action described) of my initial posting.
