12.7 Elastic audio disappearing randomly

This is a new one for me. Working Elastic audio on a vocal track and the audio for one clip kept disappearing. I thought at first that it might be a graphics thing, but on playback, the audio was indeed gone. Closed and reopened the session and it seemed okay. Just looking to see if I am the only one

I'm not on 12.7 yet, but there was a recent thread about Stereo EA tracks acting funky - could be a similar solution here???

i think that was Commit Issues with stereo tracks .. but i could certainly be wrong

Well I've always had commitment issues, so that may be something to do with it.

But no, I was referring to the fact that re-starting PT fixed it, and that it wasn't causing permanent damage to the audio files.

Apparently simply trimming the region, or deactivating the track output, recovered the audio (returning it from mono, back to stereo in that particular case).

I'd try to find the thread, but Tapatalk sucks in terms of finding an actual link (or I suck at using Tapatalk - more likely).
