If you scroll down to Additional Information, you'll see a link to Pro Tools 11 System Requirements.

Re: Quick Pro Tools 11 question
Mountain Lion is the only qualified Mac OS. The doc says 10.8.3.

Re: Quick Pro Tools 11 question
Since you're providing no information I guess you're just 'thinking out loud' ?

Re: Quick Pro Tools 11 question
To the OP - you could just wait and see. It's not going to be released for a while. Avid probably will only support it on the latest - it costs money and time to go through a bunch of different versions of the OS to test it.
If the risk is acceptable to you there's nothing wrong with trying it on an older OS. Might work, might not. If it works you've saved some $ and can upgrade later. If not, well, nothing lost but some time. |

Re: Quick Pro Tools 11 question
I know what the docs say but I also remember during the NAB webinar there was a comment made that 10.8.2 should run PT11 okay it's just that it won't be an Avid tested/blessed OSX version.
