weird Problems with installing PTLE 7.3.1 on OS X 10.4.11

Dear Digidesign-team,

unfortunately I have a big problem with installing my Pro tools LE Setup on my macbook. here is the story:

I use a Mbox 2 pro with PTLE 7.3.1 on a macbook. both purchased together in late 2006 and since that time, it worked perfectly together and also with logic. no problems, great performance.

now i had some problems with the mac system and i had to setup the macbook from scratch. means i deleted everything and installed the OS, did all updates and installed all programs.

So, then i installed my pro tools le 7.3.1 and everytime i restart the comp then the mac tells me:

- Systemextension can not be used: system/library/extension/digidal.kext was not properly installed...
- library/startupitems/digidesign mbox 2 does not have the correct safety preferences...


so, my mbox does not work, it is not detected by the mac. if i try to start pt le then, it loads, all plugs and all and stops telling me there is no digidesign hardware detected.

I tried a lot of things, of course checking all physical connections, but i guess its not a physical issue. so i also tried to install PTLE 7.1.3, /.3.1 with the update cs8, i tried to install just the coreaudio v74 divers, the combo 10.4.11. update, prebind script...whatever i do after the restart it shows the same messages.

any idea what is wrong and what i can do? since i worked several years with that combo i just dont know what the problem is.
