''Could not create a new document because...''
Tonight, launching PT 9 has started to give me a message :
''Could not create a new document because Assertion in ''/Volume/Development/ww.ProTools_9.0.6/AlturaPorts/DFW/MacBuild/../Views/UMenu.MacOS.mm'', line 1346 '' What the hell does this means ? And... since I seem to be able to launch PT anyway, launch a project and work in it... : am i at risk for anything ? (I have not tried to create a ''new project'' yet, but from reading on another forum, here's where I might get a problem.... (I installed PT9.0.6 on this Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard about 3 months ago, and this has just started tonight. Strangely, after I deleted a folder with a project I did not need anymore.. (??) - Must say that folder was created tonight also, through importing OMF files and storing converted project there. Must also say that I inadvertently started PT as I had forgotten my external hardware was shut down (audio interface). Once restarted, I went to Setup/Playback Engine and made sure to select my Fireface 800 (since it was now pointing to the motherboard audio device not supporting 48k). But even though I reverted it to Fireface 800, I keep getting message above at launch. So now, I do I get rid of this ? Thanks Rob
