SSL Duende Cross grade

Advice needed: I have been offered an 'SSL Duende' (mini), which has not yet been cross - graded. The seller assures me that it is possible to de-register the hardware from their SSL account enabling it to be re-registered to my own, is this possible? As the SSL website seems to indicate that this may void the cross grade option. Thank you in advance...

Hi,

That always was able to be done! i cant say if its changed or not over time, but you could ask their support. but once the product has been transfered to your account it should be able to be used to cross grade to the native versions.

What did you read on the website to make you think it couldnt be done?
